Our vision for the Trust evolved from our work at Precision Analytics, the parent company of 2GenPen LLC, where for over twenty eight years we have provided independent structured finance consulting services to a wide variety of capital market participants operating across a diverse array of asset classes.
The primary focus of our work has been in the US Public Finance markets. We are fortunate to also be active in the taxable securitization markets as well as in the international project finance market through our work with the World Bank and other international development banks.
Operating within this broad capital markets framework has given us unique insight into diversified examples of financial architecture and credit structures. It was within this comparative context that our vision for the 2GenPen Trust evolved.
The 2GenPen Trust is designed to be a stabilizing evolutionary force within the capital market system: it is meant to serve as a vehicle that welds capital to municipal purpose in more efficient and integral ways; a vehicle that expands the financial resources available to state and local governments and other municipal entities at a time of historic social need.
